Simon's story...

I work in the Commercial Bank Business Performance department as a finance graduate and help manage month-end processes.

I am very happy about having been given responsibility to manage my own projects, and collaborate with other teams and colleagues to manage month-end processes.

My role allows me to analyse the performance of the business and offers insights into business risks and as a result of studying the ACA I was able to comprehend many of the aspects of my role more clearly.

Components of income and costing processes made more sense after having covered the theory in the Accounting and Financial Management courses, which allowed me to understand my own and other roles better
