Why choose the ACA?
The ACA equips you with in-depth knowledge across finance, accountancy and business and is recognised by employers around the world. Our members hold influential positions in Mauritius, and you can follow in their footsteps.
By training to become a chartered accountant you will train with one of our 55 authorised employers locally, add value to organisations by thinking creatively to solve problems and become a future business leader in any industry that fascinates you.
Mauritius Student Community
The Mauritius Student Community is run by students who are here to support you. As a student with us, you will benefit by attending events, developing your professional network and connecting with other ACA trainees.
How is the ACA structured?
Full ACA training is available in Mauritius, combining four essential elements:
Certificate Level exams are held in exam centres in Ebene and Port Louis, or by remote invigilation.
Professional and Advanced Level exams can be attempted at an exam centre (when booking you will see the 5 nearest available centres) or by remote invigilation.
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)
If you have completed a degree, Masters or diploma, or have completed a professional qualification, you may be eligible to apply for exam credit or exemptions towards your qualification.
Every year we look forward to hosting a graduation ceremony to celebrate the success of our students qualifying as chartered accountants. Watch our video above showing students, families and our members celebrating together.
