Become an ICAEW Campus Ambassador

Join our team of ambassadors and you will be paid to talk to your fellow students about potential career opportunities in chartered accountancy. You will also gain valuable work experience for your CV and start growing your professional network.

What you will be doing

As an ambassador, you will be responsible for promoting ICAEW and our products and qualifications, as well as the great opportunities offered by a career in chartered accountancy to student networks at your university.

You will be expected to:

  • Hosting events on campus and promoting ICAEW events and campaigns across campus;
  • increase awareness of the ACA and the benefits of a professional qualification;
  • to investigate the key methods of contact to reach out to students on your campus, e.g. email, magazine, newspaper, radio, website; and
  • assist ICAEW Marketing Executives at careers fairs, networking, presentations and skills sessions. 

The role and the hours of work will vary dependent on university and the individual undertaking the job but on average you could do up to 20 hours per term.

You can search ICAEW Training Vacancies for a work experience placement at one of our authorised training employers (ATEs), many of which offer summer placements for students.

We are currently recruiting for campus ambassadors at the following universities:
Bath, Cambridge, Cardiff, CASS, East Anglia, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Imperial College, Kent, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Queens University Belfast, St Andrews and Strathclyde.
