What is ICAEW?
ICAEW is the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. We were founded in 1880 and support more than 147,000 ICAEW Chartered Accountants in 155 countries around the world.
Our members work in organisations in every industry and are on the boards of 78% of FTSE 100 companies. Our ACA qualification is recognised internationally and required by many finance and accountancy firms.
What we do:
- Ensure the highest professional standards.
- Promote, develop and support ICAEW Chartered Accountants.
- Share expertise to advance the accountancy and finance profession.
How is the ACA structured?
Full ACA training is available in Mauritius, combining four essential elements:
Together, these four elements give you the expertise and added-value skills that help define a chartered accountant.
You must successfully complete all four elements to complete the ACA qualification and become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
There are a number of entry routes to the ACA programme, but the minimum academic entry requirement is two A levels, or the international equivalent.
Certificate level exams are held across Mauritius including Ebene and Port Louis.
All other exams are held in Réduit and all must be pre-booked. Details of the exam venue will be sent to you approximately two weeks before the examination date.
