What's involved

BFP is an internationally recognised designation that shows you have the technical knowledge, skills and experience in business and finance. It is also a stamp of professional recognition, demonstrating that you meet the standards of a membership organisation.

Students starting before 1 July 2025 must complete three elements to gain the ICAEW CFAB qualification; the ICAEW CFAB qualification, the ICAEW ethics learning programme; and 12 months’ of work experience.

Students starting from 1 July 2025 onwards will need to complete the ICAEW CFAB qualification with the integrated new Sustainability and Ethics exam, and 12 months’ of work experience.
